NOTICE: Car and vehicle camping in Hawaii is allowed only in designated areas. We have put together this excellent guide of approved campsites to provide the best Maui camping experience for you! Please enjoy your stay on Maui, help keep our campsites clean, and remember to Leave No Trace!
It is our goal to help create the best possible experience for you during your Maui camping adventure! We urge you to PLAN AHEAD for your camping trip to Maui. Many campsites require PERMITS IN ADVANCE, and often SELL OUT so we’ve created this basic list of resources so that our guests do not arrive on Maui with intentions of just ‘winging it.’ Maui is a large and naturally beautiful island, but it’s best to have a plan of places to stay near sites you want to see.
